Wetland and Coastal Resources, Inc. was founded in 1999
by individuals who have dedicated their careers to the management,
protection and restoration of Michigan’s natural resources.
The staff is comprised of eight professional staff—including
four former employees of the Michigan Department of Environmental
Quality and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources—who
share years of experience balancing project goals with regulatory
requirements.
Wetland and Coastal Resources is one of the few firms pre-qualified to conduct
wetland delineations, wetland functional assessments, and threatened and endangered
species assessments for the Michigan Department of Transportation. The staff
is also committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring they stay current
on the regulations, methods and technology associated with wetlands and stream
restoration work.
